First up, Michaela Hart (Digital Archivist at the Department of Health and Human Services) spoke to us about personal digital archiving and zines, starting off with a wish to have everyone curl up and see how we are going in these strange times. Given there were 54 of us in attendance at our meetup today, this agenda item was put off for another day!

Next Joanne Evans (Associate Professor, Digital Equity, Monash University) shared emerging personal digital archiving tools for kids in out-of-home care and her team's research. Joanne is an archival and recordkeeping researcher and educator in the Faculty of Information Technology, Monash University.

Our third speaker Monica Galassi spoke to us about the NSW Australian Mukurtu Hub. Monica is an Italian anthropologist and PhD student who has worked in Australia since 2010 on different projects and initiatives to support Indigenous self-determination in libraries and archives. She is passionate about finding ways to promote human rights and equity of access, in particular through physical and digital archives.

There is much follow up and exploration encouraged by our three speakers today, and we look forward to continuing the discussions on the Australasia Preserves online forum.
